The Colts Neck, New Jersey dentist stayed in practice for the team and patients he calls family, and now shares his story publicly for the first time.

Scianni has not actively marketed himself in about 15 years, building his practice largely through longstanding patient relationships and referrals from a single New Jersey practice. Now, for the first time, he is speaking publicly about his patients, his team and the reasons that have kept him engaged in a profession he once expected to gradually step away from.

Scianni had intended to wind his career down gradually rather than step back all at once. He said that plan changed because of the people he works alongside every day.

"I haven't done any marketing in about 15 years and I wasn't planning on doing this," Scianni said. "I was planning on walking out the door slowly. And the only reason I am still practicing is because of my team. They don't want me to leave."

Scianni describes his team and longtime patients in the same terms, calling them family rather than employees or clientele. The bond runs in both directions: his team has pushed back on his plans to slow down more than once, and on a recent vacation asked him to check in with them every day for the length of the trip, a habit he has kept up on trips since, reflecting the kind of relationship he points to as the reason a quiet exit never happened.

The new podcast and the social channels built around it mark Scianni's first public media presence in years, with new content going out across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok and X. Early episodes focus on his four decades in practice, the patients and team members who have been part of that journey, how dentistry has changed during his career, and the experiences that continue to shape the way he thinks about his profession.

Scianni said he wants to talk about those experiences plainly, without the promotional gloss usually attached to professional social media.

Later episodes are expected to widen into other parts of his life outside the practice, including real estate, the stock market and other interests, not as separate stories, but as part of the experiences and perspective that have shaped the person behind the doctor.

Dr. Anthony Scianni, D.M.D., has practiced dentistry in New Jersey for 40 years and in Colts Neck since 1993. His clinical work spans general, cosmetic, restorative and implant dentistry, as well as the evaluation and management of TMJ disorders and facial pain, using technologies such as 3D imaging, digitally guided treatment and artificial intelligence.
