TermSquad has launched a managed cloud computer for AI coding agents, bringing persistent sessions, shared memory and multi-agent orchestration into one Linux environment. Developers can leave agents running when they close their laptop and reconnect from a desktop browser, phone or compatible SSH tool.
TermSquad provides the computer, while developers choose their agents and models. Repositories, files and configurations stay in the remote environment rather than depending on a local device.
Keep agent sessions running across devices
TermSquad supports Codex, Claude Code, OpenCode, Cursor, GitHub Copilot and other coding tools. Users install their chosen agents from the dashboard and connect existing accounts, subscriptions or API keys as supported by each tool.
The platform uses Herdr to manage persistent sessions, workspaces and terminal panes. Closing the browser does not end those sessions. Users can return through the mobile-friendly web terminal or compatible desktop development tools over SSH.
Coordinate implementation, review and debate with Squad
Squad is TermSquad’s multi-agent orchestration capability. Within Herdr-managed sessions, a lead agent can assign implementation and review to other agents, run independent tasks in parallel and collect their results. Users can choose different agents and models for each role.
Squad also includes Debate: two agents develop independent proposals and challenge each other’s reasoning over successive rounds. The result records explicit agreement or a lack of consensus, with a local transcript available for review.
Share project knowledge with Squad Memory
Squad Memory stores selected project knowledge, including architectural decisions, coding conventions and session summaries. Compatible agents on the same computer can retrieve that knowledge in later sessions, with memories organized by project.
For example, a decision saved while working with Claude Code can later be retrieved by Codex on that computer. Persistent sessions preserve the working session; Squad Memory preserves selected knowledge. Its store stays on the user’s TermSquad computer.
Manage the computer and its workloads
Beyond agent coordination, TermSquad includes browser-based file management and editing, GitHub connection, an overview of agent states and resource monitoring. TermSquad Guard adds protection designed to reduce the risk of runaway agent workloads overwhelming the machine.
Users can manage multiple computers from one account. TermSquad manages machine setup and core platform maintenance while users retain control of their projects, tools and files.
